Yes Mom, I love you for everything you've done for me, but sometimes I find it hard to be happy with you all the time.
I hate how you keep me in the house and don't let me see my friends, then complain when I'm on the computer. That's really the only way I talk to them because of you. Yes, I actually want to see my friends outside of school! I hardly see any of them. & The only time you let me out is when I'm with my Lao friends. That's so racist and stupid. And mom, I won't automatically get raped if I go outside, so relax. I have a cell phone for a reason too: emergencies. No, I'm not going to end up like Valerie, or party every night. Stop treating me, Auntie Pam, and everyone else like they're 5. Pam was right about you not letting me grow up.
The biggest thing that pisses me off about you, right now, is how you care way too much about what people think of you. Yes, everyone cares about what people think about them, but some more than others. That would be you. No one in the family thinks I dress slutty, or think I have "too much freedom." It's only you. You won't let me date because you're scared of what I probably wouldn't do, and you're scared of them judging you for it. News Flash: They're judging you because of what you're doing now; boxing me in. Keo & Kett started dating at my age, so why can't I? I'm not going to run off to Vegas/have sex/whatever. I'm smarter than that.

It drives me fucking crazy that you have so little faith in me.
