I actually wanted OUT of high school?

Okay okay, high school wasn't the best. I was still in poverty and I had parents that were less than sufficient. As a matter of fact I was kicked out and moved in with my grandparents half way through senior year, no I wasnt a bad kid (that they knew of) I just disagreed with them over EVERYTHING cause they were pieces of shit ( how big you ask? well I cant go to collage because I cant pay for it... and because of there decisions in life, I dont get ANY government money for it. no financial aid no thing).

But yeah, a few days out of high school i moved in an apartment with my boyfriend. Right after high school was over, I lost contact with all of my friends and my family already hated me.

Today is my birthday I'm 2 decades old. Facebook "happy birthdays" were about 10 of not so close friends and a few close friends. I got two texts that read happy birthday - from my parents. And my boyfriend's plans for the day? Get HIS hair cut(which needed to be done but when I asked if I was getting mine done he answered no) see his movie (even when there was one out I wanted to see) well he decided he just didnt want to see any at all after reading more about his movie. So then we decide I would be allowed to make a dish I've been wanting to try... we get to the store and the whole time he is complaining about how much it's going to cost. I try to convince him but he says we will buy it in 'little' bits at a time(no doubt he will forget). So we go to leave with the two items that we perched today and he said "oh you want flowers?" and I said "YES!" but not too drastic. And he said oh they're too expensive you're too boring. and we ended up getting NOTHING for my birthday. I had a nice dinner (steak but it cost about the same to eat at mc donalds and we took it home) and I fucked for my birthday.

I got nothing.
no cards
no flowers
no clothes
no money.
nothing.
not that I'm greedy.
but hell. Ive put up with SO much shit in my life
and this marks TWO DECADES of it.
and he is now deciding that laying in the bedroom with me is not what he wants to do, instead he took his PHONE in the other room to READ A NEWS REPORT ABOUT FOOTBALL.

I just want to restart my entire life.
I've been cheated out of soooo much in my lifetime.
and every fucking year my birthday is a reminder.
hell I'll be 21 next year.
I'll just fucking get wasted every night.
not like I'm worth anything to anyone anyways.


AT LEAST IN HIGH SCHOOL - NO MATTER HOW UNCOOL YOU ARE, YOU HAVE AT LEAST THAT ONE PERSON TO LISTEN TO YOU RANT.
