just how insubstantial we actually are.

this is something that's been bugging me, in this world we laud ourselves as the superiors, to animals, to trees, to each other even. i can't go two steps without somebody questioning my actions. it just seems that they don't understand just how insignificantly insubstantial we actually are.

first off, let's start with Einstein's very much accepted theory: E=mc2 it goes a lot further than that but to sum it all up, energy and mass, are one and the same, they are interchangeable, you can annihilate matter and anti matter and the only thing that is left is pure energy that quickly condenses into forms that we are familiar with. they are interchangeable, you can technically take a certain amount of energy and turn it into mass, the easiest way to say this is with a photon, the unit of light, unless it's observed it's a wave of electromagnetic energy, when it's observed it's a physical particle gaining weight and substance.

now, let's come to an agreement. if there was one day no mass in this lonely little universe, would there be any energy? sound waves can't propogate in the vacuum of space. heat doesn't exist because there's nothing of mass to vibrate. electromagnetism requires particles, and so does gravity. electricity itself is tied directly to the electron so there's no energy there. there's nothing substantial to hold any kinetic energy. radioactivity relies on particles as well. so to say that there is not mass in the universe there is no energy.

so just how insubstantial are we? we are made from a particle, that is essentially energy, energy only exists because there is a particle to hold it. we don't exist but for the grace of fuck-what?! and i'm here trying to think, what the hell does all this matter for? we are so close to not existing that i sincerely doubt that we even exist!

we don't fucking exist or if we do then it's so insubstantial that it really doesn't matter! lol! so what's the point of doing wrong, you only have one life in this universe that doesn't exist, might as well make it enjoyable.
