i don't think people understand that there is a middle point to things, i think that people learn a new idea and it's fantastic and awesome and they start doing it but problems arise because they don't take themselves away from the equation and realize that maybe having your caffeine tolerance to the point where you can down 5 monster energy drinks in one morning is not a good thing. maybe.

or maybe when your young and your introduced to new concepts like sex, drugs, horrible music that your friends are listening to (i'm fucking giving you the death glare beiber). that you shouldn't immediately try and do each of those until your body stops or your left with consequences that you are in no means capable of handling.

a good example, i think that the women of my generation are dressing like sluts, seriously, going to walmart in a tube top and short shorts is not a smart idea. but at the same time i'm living in a region where there are five different cults and a nunnery within throwing distance. each one of them forces their women to cover up to the point where they are despised for their body. the middle is respecting your body to cover it up, but not to the point of being ashamed of it.

another good example, for the other gender, respect, going down the street waving around a pistol and aiming it at anybody for "messing" with you does not get you respect, fear, maybe, but not respect. at the other end though is those guys who wouldn't stand up for themselves or their actions if their lives depended on it, how can this even be seen as respectable? no, there is a middle here, you stand up for yourself, but you don't bully, respect is given at first, but if you want to keep it, you have to earn it.

some people just need to understand that if you want to get the most out of life you'd get more of what you want by controlling yourself than burning out young because "you fucking partied dude". so there, my rant for today, learn to moderate yourself, find your middle, get some self control, and maybe then you will allow yourself to become something decent.
