think their so entitled to fucking everything! it pisses me off.

so i'm taking college form because you know, i'm in college, hahaha, no. anyways we have a guest speaker today for the career center, and guess what the most hotly debated subject was? getting fired or not getting hired because you posted some embarrasing or illegal act on facebook. i heard shit from "the first ammendment", to "it's not right", to even, "it sucks". and it's bullshit.

when you have a job, you are not entitled to it, it is not "yours" your do not own it, if you do not do what your job wants you to do then you will not have that Job! period.

also the first ammendment does protect your freedom of speach, it does not protect you from the repercussions of your beliefs. for instance, I fucking hate gay people. by my first ammendment rights i'm allowed to say that. but the first ammendment isn't going to protect me from every liberal assed bastard screaming at me for not being tolerant. here's some news, I am not tolerant, jesus didn't teach tolerance, and i never learned it.

peace, love, happiness, their all yours, but i will not tolerate any bullshit.

I agree with you and disagree with you.

on the one hand, it is fair to assume that someone in charge of hiring for any company should be able to get as much information about someone as is reasonable. and seeing someones facebook page is to be expected.

but i do not agree with how far someone in a hiring office is able to go these days. technology has gone beyond facebook and twitter. there is now technology that makes it possible for companies to access all of the information that has ever been said or accessed by someones IP address. this means that something that was posted anonymously can now be used to find a reason to not hire somebody. this also means that if you share a computer, anything that another person said using could potentially be held against you.

I find it hard to believe that you would not reach a point where it is too far. there has to a breaking point between where a company can use information that they shouldn't have been able to gain access to in the first place.

is it right for a company to not hire you because they are a predominantly liberal company, and there is evidence that you read an article online from the
fox website?
