People Who Talk During Performances

So I went to a cultural performance last night, and here's what I would have liked to say to the group of college kids sitting behind me.

Shhhhhh you're acting like a bunch of middle school girls (yes boys, this includes you) incapable of being quiet. Seriously, tape your mouths shut if you have too (I know I'd gladly do it for you). Also, for the love of all that is good and holy, put away your damn cell phones.

Look I get it, you honestly believe, with the utmost conviction that your conversation demands more respect than the performers on stage. But you're wrong. I did not come here to listen to a bunch of gossipy girls (and guys) talk OVER the performers, not even making an effort to be quiet. It's irritating, especially when you say derogatory things about the performers cultural dance, you are blatantly insulting an entire culture when you say "that's so gay" about it, and not to mention, any LGBTQ member sitting within a 10 foot radius of you. Like me.

Oh, and again, put away your damn cell phones. Honey, you don't have to be here, I hope you know. If you have so many BETTER things to do, than do them! Just don't make me listen to your endless crude, bitchy remarks.

Also please stop pounding your feet on the bleachers, and tell the dickhead sitting behind me to stop kicking my seat.
